DON'T FORGET, DON'T FORGET, DON'T FORGET, DON'T FORGET!!!!!!!!

Don't forget "what" you may ask?????

It's our last Wednesday night Card Club tonight.  $15.00 all materials supplied just bring along your Basic Kit.

Come along dressed in all your Christmas getup, bring along a small plate of food to share and join in the fun of the festivities while we make 3 last minute Christmas cards.

It has been an absolute joy teaching Card Club this year.  It really has taken off and especially now as we have our own little ATC (Artist Trading Cards) groups.

Thank you to all for making these nights such a success.

We have already started the countdown with Day 1 - Matchbox Drawers

Day 2 - Easel card (and bonus tag easel card)

These two classes have been so much fun - everyone is amazed at how quick and easy these classes are and you walk away with a little something for yourself or for the perfect gift.  All you need to do is bring along a simple kit - tapes, glues, ruler, craft knife and $10.00.

You can book for ALL of the classes or why not just pop in for any of the days.  We'd love you to join in.

Day 3 -  5th December.   Mega Inchies Ornament - learn to make your own little Christmas ornament using our chipboard mega inchies.  In this class you will decorate the little chipboard squares will all sorts of bits and pieces.

Day 4   6th December.  Hanging Heart Box - make a little heart box that can hang - you can pop cards or goodies inside.  Perfect gift.

Day 5 - 7th December. Decorated Bag, Tag and Card - great little goodies bag that you can pop a little christmas pressie into.

Day 6 - 8th December.   Decorated Tin Cans - recycling at its best.  Use an empty tin food can and add some goodies then give as a gift.  If you'd like to join this class - bring along some goodies to pop inside the can  - lollies, hair clips etc - the choice is yours.

Day 7 - 9th December.  Playing Card Album - turn an everyday playing card into something a little special.  We are going to learn to turn it into a little album with some cute little pockets on the inside.

Day 8 - 12th December.  Toilet Roll Album - yes you read it right.  3 toilet rolls is all we need to create a little album with a twist.  Go on - you know you want to make it to satisfy your curiosity.

Day 9 - 13th December.  Cube Box.  A little box made from cardstock decorated in vintagy colours.  Perfect to hang on the tree or give as a gift.  If you have a passport sized photo that you'd like to add - bring that along too.

Day 10 - 14th December.  Doilie Banner - make a mini banner that you can display in your home over the Christmas season.

Day 11 - 15th December.  Triangle Treat Box - make this little box and pop some lollies inside.  Give it to someone special for a little token gift.

Day 12 - 16th December.  Peek A Boo Card - great little card with something hidden - when you open the card - all is revealed.

As a bonus - next Thursday 8th December would normally be our regular Card Club day - well, if you would like to join in we are adding this class after the 12 Days of Christmas class (Decorated Tin Cans) and also on the following Thursday 15th December (Triangle Treat Box).

On Thursday the 22nd December we will be making something a little special at our Card Club - if you would like to join in the fun give us a ring - the class will be $15.00 and everyone can bring along a small plate of food to share and celebrate.  We will have little giveaways too so come on - give us a ring on 59 408925 to secure your spot.

THURSDAY CARD CLUB

Here are the cards that we created for this week's Thursday Card Club.  The theme was "monochromatic" - all one colour.  Must say it was great to work with orange to brighten things up.

(Jan added the extra one above for a Sunday class - nice one Jan)

Thursdays

Thursday's are becoming quite popular at the Scrapbook Lady.  Why??????????

because we are running weekly Card Classes.  If you can't make it one week - that is fine.  There is no ongoing committment.

This is a great way to learn to make cards, meet new people and try to warm up a bit.  Let's face it these wintery days are a bit miserable sitting at home by yourself.

All materials are supplied in a kit.

All you need to do is give us a ring or drop into the shop and let us know that you'd like to join in - why not bring a friend.

It doesn't get much better than that.

Hope to see you there.
